Richard Pedroza, MD
Richard Pedroza, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician and the medical director of AGP Family Health Clinic in Tomball, Texas. Dr. Pedroza welcomes families and patients of all ages to the practice for preventive medicine, urgent care, and chronic disease management. Dr. Pedroza was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, as the son of Colombian immigrants. His father practiced community health care for over 40 years in the Mid-City neighborhood of New Orleans, and it inspired Dr. Pedroza to follow in his father’s footsteps in medicine. He went on to complete his medical degree at the Universidad de Monterrey in San Pedro Garza García, Mexico.
Following his studies, he pursued a residency program in family medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Pedroza is certified in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), and advanced trauma life support® (ATLS). While Dr. Pedroza is fluent in Spanish and English and supports the unique health needs of the diverse community, he is also a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, and wholeheartedly encourages military men and women to the practice for empathetic care. He firmly believes in serving the whole community. Dr. Pedroza prevents and treats men’s health issues that affect your health and well-being.

Jordan Pedroza, Practice Manager
Jordan Pedroza is the dedicated Practice Manager at AGP Family Health Clinic. She plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and enhancing patient experiences. Born in New Orleans, Jordan relocated to Tomball at a young age and later graduated from Tomball High School.
Her commitment to service led her to join the Army, where she proudly served two tours in Afghanistan as both a combat medic and a flight medic. Through her military experiences, Jordan developed exceptional skills in crisis management, teamwork, and patient care, all of which she brings to her position at AGP Family Health Clinic.
Jordan is passionate about promoting community health and is committed to fostering a supportive environment for patients and staff. In her role, she strives to ensure that the clinic operates efficiently and that every patient receives the highest standard of care.
Carla Casanova
Carla Casanova was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, in 1986. She grew up and was raised in her hometown, where she completed her medical studies in 2011 at the National Experimental University Francisco de Miranda (UNEFM), earning her degree as a Medical Doctor.Afterward, Carla did a few years as a resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Zulia. Since then, she has worked tirelessly in the healthcare field, continuously preparing herself to provide the best possible service to her patients and the community.In 2016, Carla migrated to the United States, settling in Texas, where she obtained her certification as a Medical Assistant. Continuing her dedication to healthcare, she pursued nursing studies and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree with a major specialization in Nursing, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors and becoming a Registered Nurse.Carla’s goal is to continue advancing in the healthcare field, developing her skills in collaboration with Dr. Pedroza while pursuing her degree as a Nurse Practitioner. Her aim is to provide high-quality, compassionate care that is closer to the patient, for the benefit of the community as a whole.
